It's not every day that we get asked to build a black bed so when we were approached by clients from Tasmania to create a custom black Bookshelf Bed of course we said yes. Of course we had to bring it inside and style it up in our home studio. We was so curious to know what it was going to look like when styled and we absolutely love how the bed fades into the background and all of the bed linen and styling items just pop!

It’s officially cold, so when my friend Caroline, designer of Maxted Clothing contacted me to look at her new knitwear collection I jumped at the opportunity. In 2020 we went into one of the strictest lockdowns in the world and we had to come up with a solution to photograph our furniture from home. We came up with a bookshelf design that doubles as a false wall in our living room and this has become the backdrop for our furniture photography. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise as now we save so much money and time when it comes to staging and photographing our furniture.
