What a way to welcome winter!
Forrest, Victoria is a small rural township in the Otway Ranges, Victoria, Australia and is absolutely gorgeous!
Echoview- Forrest Reflections is a one of a kind property, has 3 bedrooms, sleeps 8 and is styled top-to-bottom with rustic charm. It’s literally everything you dream of - frosty mornings, roaring fire, cozy beds and a long timber table for everyone to pile around to enjoy meals.
We arrived at night when it was dark so you can only imagine our amazement when we woke up and walked outside. The barn-style home is positioned perfectly North and overlooks a glassy lake. We lucked out with clear blue skies and warm sunshine which made my shower experience one to remember…
- take note to design our future bathroom with a big, north-facing window.
We spent the days down on the large timber platform that protrudes over the lake, dined on cheese platters and a rotation of great drinks and the nights wrapped up in blankets around the fire.
Sometimes all you need is a little weekend away with friends to reset.
