Our birth definitely didn’t go the way I expected it would but I do feel the way I wanted to. I wanted a birth where I felt supported, in control of my decisions and empowered as a woman. Goldie’s birth was the most transformative moment of my life, I have never felt so in-tune with my own body and connected to Al.

We invited Geelong based photographer Michelle McKay into our home when Goldie was 10 days old. Michelle followed us around the house, casually capturing moments of our new morning routine. Michelle was a dream to work with and it’s safe to say that we will treasure these beautiful memories for a lifetime.

There’s no denying that Al and I absolutely love eggs! We are very lucky to have access to farm-fresh golden eggs from our neighbouring farms! One of our go-to breakfasts is a delicious omelette packed full of flavour.
